If it's still hard, it's because you aren't lazy enough.. lol
The most difficult work to do is to think through a problem creatively, those who made amazing solutions for the world are kinda lazy.
Lazy not in the sense of doing nothing, which that in itself stupid; but lazy in the sense that they always want to seek out ways to solve problems, and make life easier, faster even cheaper for the betterment of the human race.
I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it. --- Bill Gates
Lazy people aren't comfortable with the status quo, they always want to break out of the matrix and unfollow the masses doing the same thing especially when it's slow-paced, repetitive and boring. They seek a way to save time to avoid exertion of energy.
To be lazy in this context means when faced with a task, you ask yourself
’What's the best way I can approach this problem to make it faster, easier with a better experience’.
Laziness typically is viewed as a lack of motivation or willingness to engage in effortful tasks which somehow may hold the key to innovation for example…
We can't continue riding on horses… the car was invented.
Can't continue to the postal office.. the telephone was invented
Can't continue walking up a 10-floor building.. elevator was invented
My story of a lazy solution.
When I was in secondary school (high School) I learnt a subject called technical drawing. It sparked my interest in becoming an architect at some point. At first, it was difficult for me, the instructor would use 3 instruments to draw shapes and lines… the ruler, t-square and triangles. Sincerely I didn't get that method.. was kind of complicated for me(couldn't even get a C grade in the test). So, I created a method that worked for me…
I used just the t-square and triangle instruments. Removed the ruler completely, and also created my unique way of calculating the angles.
This method makes it faster and easier for me. I won't forget the final examples. I was the first to Finish up with a loud A+ lol...
My classmates asked how ... My response was... I did it the lazy way.
I am sure you must have had instances like this in your personal life.
Lazy is hard
Coming up with a solution the lazy way isn't easy, because to seek more efficient ways of doing tasks will require lots of thinking if you want to minimize the exertion of energy. You get it right?
You might ask.. so Emmanuel what if am not lazy within this context, how will I be described ... That means you are strong but you not thinking deeply enough. Lol
A Lazy approach will save the Human Race.
Big question, can we apply this method to our personal lives, our work, spiritual life, mental health, family life, business, academics, relationships etc? Of course yes.. we just have to ask ourselves the big question is ‘how can I improve this experience, how can I get better results with lesser time and effort?’ And get ready to put your spirit, soul and body into getting it done.
Love love love this! Smart work over hard work anytime anyday😎
